Our Story
Sharvari Hospital was founded in 2023 by Dr. Kundan Kharde — a general and laparoscopic surgeon with over 19 years of experience — to build the kind of hospital he wanted for his own patients: one with the surgical infrastructure to do advanced laser and laparoscopic work, and small enough that the surgeon who examines you is the surgeon who operates.
Sharvari Hospital was built to change that. Located in the Wakad–Pimple Nilakh area of Pune, the hospital combines the surgical precision and technology of a large institution with the personalised attention and warmth of a doctor who knows every patient by name.

Our Founder
Sharvari Hospital was founded in 2023 by Dr. Kundan Kharde (MS, FMAS), a General, Laparoscopic and Proctology Surgeon with over 19 years of surgical experience. As Founder & Director, Dr. Kharde built Sharvari Hospital as a 50-bed surgical facility in Pimple Nilakh, Pune, focused on laser and laparoscopic surgery — with the goal of making specialist-led, transparent surgical care accessible to families across Wakad, Baner, Hinjawadi and PCMC. Dr. Kharde has performed 6,000+ surgeries; the hospital holds ISO 9001:2015 certification (Cert. No. ICS/2026/QMS-100), and is registered with PCMC (Reg. No. 884). Its laparoscopic programme is anchored by hernia surgery (TEP/TAPP mesh repair) — the hospital's highest-volume keyhole procedure, with 1,200+ hernia repairs performed by Dr. Kharde.
