ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard for quality management systems. What is PCMC Nursing Home Registration No. 884?
Any hospital that admits patients in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area must be registered under the Bombay Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949. Registration No. 884 is Sharvari Hospital's registration with the PCMC Medical Department. It confirms that the premises, bed capacity, operation theatre, staffing and biomedical-waste arrangements were inspected and approved for a 50-bed private surgical hospital at Pimple Nilakh.
The current registration runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029 and is renewed on application. PCMC does not publish an online register, and the registration document itself is not reproduced here. How do I verify Dr. Kharde's medical registration?
Dr. Kundan Kharde, Founder & Director and lead surgeon, is registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council on the modern-medicine (allopathic) register — Reg. No. 2013113384, registered 12 November 2013 and valid to 12 November 2028. His qualifications are MBBS (I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy, 2007) and MS General Surgery (Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Pimpri, 2013).
